If you don’t already pay attention to space, specifically the moon Titan, you should start.
Titan looks like the most habitable celestial object in our solar system. And if we need to seriously think about going somewhere beyond our blue planet, Titan may be the place to go.
With liquid methane on the surface, and with possible sub-surface oceans that may be more conducive to life, Titan resembles our Earth’s dense atmosphere.
If you’re not interested in Titan yet, you should see what user interface artist Leonid Ershov has done to create an homage to the moon.
Now, Ershov’s project is just an attempt to visualize the excitement over the prospect of a mission to Saturn’s moon. But wouldn’t it be interesting to see this user interface on a flight to Titan’s surface?
Could you imagine yourself on some kind of commercial spacecraft reviewing the weather on the celestial body via Ershov’s design?
What do you foresee as a use for Ershov’s design? Will it be used in some kind of display that appears on the seat in front of you reporting information on Titan as you approach orbit?
Do you know of other designs that you think portray an accurate and practical vision of the future?
