“[L]ike in a little big bang time forms with this unusual watch concept.” – Jerichow
As it was an explosion that set time in motion, the Collider Watch imagines another explosion telling us the time at every hour. There’s no reason for us to continue using the old analog and digital models of hands and numbers, so Jerichow rethought how to tell time altogether.
The Collider Watch indicates two beams of light, one red, one blue, that beam toward each other, collide, and explode into LED stripes on the face of the watch. Each little LED indicates a different second, minute, or hour.
Considering the Collider Watch’s radical system of time-telling, what else can we rethink? Design never needs to stay the same, and with something as abstract as time, why don’t we have some fun and visualize it differently?
