Since Google has created the first ever brain chip that allows a search engine to essentially live and work inside your brain, I’m confident that the ability to acquire a new skill or master a particular subject in a few hours is only a ‘thought’ or two away. With the invention of the Google Chip, within seconds one not only has the capacity to determine the location of that Chinese restaurant you had been searching for, but also unearth that Historical dissertation you need in order to complete your term paper. Envision having access to millions of books, medical journals, scientific studies, and more all from inside your head. You can begin to see that with the escalation of this new technology a college education will seem like a rather trivial notion.

Furthermore, through the use of RFID key chains for his dog and close friends, Chad’s personal Jarvis can even adjust his personal settings to accommodate for privacy when friends come to visit. For instance, when guests are in his home, Facebook and Twitter notifications are automatically set to silent mode and “Jarvis” will even remember to turn off the lights once everyone has left the house.
With technology continuing to expand at this exponential rate, traditional education will be radically transformed in the coming years. As more and more people have access to information not only with the click of their mouse but downloaded directly to their cerebral cortex, the need for vocational schools and graduate degrees will soon become archaic; the rise of the DIY inventor will surface. Moreover, with Google corporation pressing to be inside everyone’s brain and the DIY drive increasing, these new technologies will be here and available sooner than you think.
The potential for thousands of knowledgeable and capable DIY minds to unite from around the globe and solve world problems is just around the corner. Nonetheless, despite this monumental opportunity for a utopian society to be in our near future, for the average Joe, the simple prospect of one day eradicating student loans might be exciting enough.
